libloadpng4.4 software package provides PNG loading addon for Allegro 4, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libloadpng4.4
libloadpng4.4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libloadpng4.4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libloadpng4.4 *
You will get with libloadpng4.4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
